We’re looking for a Chef de Partie/Sous Chef to assist our brilliant and energetic Head Chef and his team in the kitchen. This is no ordinary job. Last year the Daily Mail voted our restaurant the 3rd best view in Britain and if you came to The Lodge, you would see why. Set in the most idyllic location, on the banks of the River Dee, we’re an eclectic, fun and luxury boutique hotel in a country setting. We love pushing the boundaries and our food is famed far and wide. We are regularly serving over 1000 diners a week using the very best of local produce which complements the seasons.
Banchory is the ideal place for outdoor pursuits and city life. Known as the Gateway to Royal Deeside, on your time away from the hotel there are oodles of cycle trails, walks, breweries, distilleries and castles in the surrounding area. We’re also not far from one of Scotland’s national parks - The Cairngorms and there are brilliant transport links into Aberdeen, approximately 13 miles away.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced housekeeper to join the team as we have just completed a full refurbishment of the bedrooms. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in the bedrooms and public areas. The hotel has 28 rooms, 4 dining areas and a function suite. Preparing rotas, ordering supplies, checking rooms, monitoring laundry costs are all within the remit of the role. This is an operational role that requires flexibility and working weekends is essential.
