We Are Reopening!

From Monday 29th March, our restaurant diaries are open to take your bookings for the new outdoor ‘Sitooterie’ and indoor restaurant.  We can’t wait to have you back and the team are getting ready to serve up the tasty food and drink you’ve all been missing at The Lodge since we saw you last.

Thinking of something a bit bigger than lunch or dinner, then what about a cheeky wee staycation to help beat off the ‘lockdown blues’? The Lodge diary is open with some great deals like three nights for the price of twoBook direct for best rates and to check availability.

Want to know more about the operating hours?  Things aren’t quite back to normal yet so there are some changes to the old opening hours but there are still loads of options available, check this out below:

It’s all good news here, we are allowed food and drink bookings with alcohol (yippee) outdoors from April 26 from 12 noon to 10pm with last orders for grub at 8pm

  • Drinks only alfresco tables are also available, what a bonus!

Indoor Dining

Not everyone wants to eat outside so the indoor restaurant will also be open 12 noon till 8pm with last orders at 6.30pm.  No alcohol here but still plenty of tasty mocktails and soft drinks on offer.

  • Afternoon Tea is also back Thurs to Sat 3pm to 4.30pm (24hr advance booking required so chef can make enough scones for you all).

  • Sunday isn’t complete without brunch so it’s back too and we’ve extended it for the whole day 12 till 8pm, again last bookings are 6:30pm.  Those dining from 4pm onwards will also have evening specials to pick from, what will you choose?

These timings will remain in play until the 17th May when we might have to reshuffle them again to keep up with restrictions, phew it’s hard to keep up but we’re getting there….

No reopening from Lockdown would be complete with some rules and regulations, it’s like getting a lecture from your Mum but it’s for all our own good so let’s all be on our best behaviour.

  • For outdoor bookings, the rule is no more than six people from a maximum of three households.

  • We’re open outdoors from 12 noon to 10pm with last orders for food at 8pm. We will require everyone to be on their way by 10pm so to keep us on the right side of the law please think about booking taxis in advance.

  • Please be aware of the current no alcohol indoors rule when you book and also that only groups of four can meet from a maximum of two households.

  • Everyone has to be seated – so no secret chats at your pals table or in the corridors, it’ll get us in trouble.

  • Children now count in the table booking numbers even the smallest ones in high chairs.

  • The reception team are doing their best to answer all your queries and calls but it would help us greatly if you could book online. Our booking system allows you to add notes so if you have any dietary requirements, need a high chair etc, you can add all of this into the booking.

The last bit we promise:

  • You must wear a mask when you are on our premises except when you are at your table.

  • You must sanitise your paws on arrival, there are loads of stations all over the place so no excuses.

  • Most importantly, please stay at home if you feel unwell or are displaying any symptoms of you know what!

We want to say thank you for sticking with us, it’s been a tough year, worrying for the business, the staff and the future but we hope this is the last page and the next chapter is much brighter.

We’re looking forward to being back in action and seeing you all real soon.
