Receptionist (Supervisory Role)

Banchory Lodge is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in a supervisory role. You will support the Hotel Manager in ensuring guests experience a high level of service in all areas, mindful that reception creates the first and last impression of the hotel.

You will supervise the reception team, providing support and direction on how to provide a high-level service ensuring standards, procedures & regulations are always followed whilst also taking responsibility for monitoring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

As an important liaison between different departments, excellent communication skills are essential to work effectively with Housekeeping, Maintenance and Restaurant staff. Your attention to detail in your work and accuracy in both numerical work and typing must be of the highest standard.

You will work on the reception desk, checking guests in and out of the hotel, providing a welcoming and personal experience,  dealing with telephone, email and face to face enquiries, and a range of administrative duties.

For this role, you will need previous experience in a reception role, supervisory experience, excellent organisational abilities and exceptional people skills. You must also be able to work weekends. Experience using hotel booking systems Guestline Rezlynx is essential.
